Riverview is a progressive community centrally located in the heart of Florida just south-east of Tampa. Our residents enjoy a short commute to larger metropolitain areas via Interstate-75 which runs north and south through our community. The convienent access to the Interstate system, allows Riverview residents to enjoy all the amenities that Tampa Bay has to offer, yet live far enough away to experience a wonderful small town atmosphere.
The beautiful Alafia River runs quietly through our town and empties into Hillsborough Bay and Tampa Bay. Residents enjoy all the activities a river can provide - Boating, Fishing, Canoeing, & Picnicing at the Riverview Park and Civic Center.
The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1966. The Chamber and local businesses work together to organize many community events throughout the year.
