You’re invited to experience the holidays Florida style! Welcome Santa as he arrives by water then cheer on your favorite decorated boats completely decked out for the holidays as they travel up the beautiful Alafia River! Everyone is welcome! To enter your boat, compete in the Chili Cook-Off, sign up as a Sponsor, or volunteer: https://www.alafiaboatparade.com
Festivities include: Outdoor Photos with Santa - Santa arrives by boat - Holiday music - Riverfront viewing of the parade - Kids’ Crafts Indoors - Chili Cook Off - $5 to taste and vote for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place! Prizes for the winners! Food available for purchase.
After Party (8-10 PM) at River’s Edge Bar & Grill, 6226 Ohio Ave, Gibsonton: Best Decorated Boats will be announced with prizes sponsored by River’s Edge Bar & Grill. Event proceeds benefit Friends of County Parks and local charities through the FishHawk-Riverview Rotary Club Foundation.
